My name is Kevin Patton and you will never hear me tell you that, if you only change your attitude, your lot will improve. I will never say "If only you stopped thinking irrationally, your life would be better".
My training does not make me an expert on how you should live, it taught me how to help you take your life back and become the person you want to be.
Working one-to one, we will look at what is happening with you, how it affects you and how this becomes a problem in your life. We will look at what keeps this going and what you have done in the past that made things a bit better.
Using this information, we will practice some techniques, find the ones that work best for you and work on a plan that will help you take control of your life.
I know you have the skills and experience to show up for what matters to you in life, and I know that sometimes, more times than you’d like, you find yourself overwhelmed by stuff that gets in the way of being who you really are.
Drawing upon my training in ACT, CBT, DBT, Open Dialogue and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, combined with the hard-won experience of supporting people with complex needs for over thirty years, I focus on what actually works to help cultivate your skillful practice to free yourself from the tyranny of self-limiting thoughts, overwhelming emotions and self-defeating behaviours that suck the joy from life and steal your power.
